Thursday Is "This Old House Day"

This 1926, brick classic on Wollaston Avenue has a stately beauty. I marvel at the craftsmanship and labor that went into the homes built in the 1920s.

Me also, I think they were definitely built to last, much more so than today's builds!

Chrissy- I was graciously invited into a very unique turn-of-the-century (19th) house a couple years ago. It was a real treat to spend time with the owners and learn some of the history of the old house. Perhaps I will get lucky again some day ;-)

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
