Thursday Is "This Old House Day"
Today's "old house" is from the southwest part of the city. This 1924, Quincy cape, located at 273 Liberty Street is in pristine shape. This style house is seen in many sections of Quincy that were developed in the 1920s and 30s. The stucco finish and graceful arched openings on the front porch caught my eye; I haven't seen another house of this design with those details.
