If you enlarge this image you will see the McDonnell family monument located in St. Mary's Cemetery. This impressive Corinthian-style sculpture stands 40 ft tall and is made of blue Quincy granite.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

The monument is beautiful. The pillars are very unique, too and a little odd, if you ask me. :)

Impressive! I am especially amazed by the colors here; the orange trees contrast with the rest of the pictures which is nearly completely grey. Nice!
