This building is located in the North Quincy business district on Billings Road. This neighborhood used to be known as Norfolk Downs, a name chosen in a real estate promoter's contest. This neighborhood has a large Asian population and I can't help but wonder if the newly painted detail in the concrete above the doorways was painted "red" for good luck and prosperity for the businesses located there. Let's hope so.

I like the red feature. I've done red too today!
Ah! I too thought those red accents were a little asian (before reading your commentary). Wjat a cool idea to have a contest to name a neighborhood!
