A very austere building. Do you know when it was built? Will the new building be built in a similar style?

And will they replace it with something a little more inspiring and easy on the eye? I think, if I went to school there, I'd have a melancholy outlook on life. Hopefully they'll replace it with something that lets in more light and air... Just my two cents...

It's not really what you would call an uplifting environment. So hopefully, it will be a more "happy" place soon.

Austere is the word. If that was the UK it would have been a 70's building. I love the composition, but not the building.

I have to agree with the word "austere" to describe this building. It was built in the 1970s in that plain, kind of ugly concrete style that was so prevalent then. If you click on new school in the caption you will see that the new design is an improvement with at least some curves and glass to make it a bit more interesting.

Thanks you all for visiting and I enjoy your comments.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
