This block of stores on Newbery Ave. in North Quincy, was locked up tight on a recent Sunday morning. It's too bad the merchants have to take such drastic, ugly measures to secure their businesses.

Its a shame when owners have to use shutters to protect their property. Its not very attractive!
Well, fact is, everything gets stolen in Quincy- even in the nice parts of town... Cars, license plates, jewelry... One time, someone even stole the wheel off my friend's truck while it was parked at Wollaston T stop!
