Although gulls are really flying rats, I love seeing them near bodies of water. They are quite beautiful in appearance, aren't they? I grew up on Lake Michigan and live close to Lake Superior now so I'm very familiar with thoses rascals. Great photo, and I like the way you balanced the objects.
Oh wow, I like this one! The stripes in the water are particularly neat.

Kate- the gulls are quite the scavengers. One once had the nerve to take my baby's pacifier right off the beach blanket that we were picnicking on!
eliane- my sneakers wore out from pounding all the pavement in Quincy! I also like the ripples in the water ;)
