This week's posts will continue to focus on Quincy's 27 miles of Atlantic coastline.
Quincy (Kwin' zee), Massachusetts, City of Presidents and Birthplace of the American Dream
This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

Although gulls are really flying rats, I love seeing them near bodies of water. They are quite beautiful in appearance, aren't they? I grew up on Lake Michigan and live close to Lake Superior now so I'm very familiar with thoses rascals. Great photo, and I like the way you balanced the objects.
Oh wow, I like this one! The stripes in the water are particularly neat.
Btw, where are your sneakers? I nearly thought I was on the wrong blog. Love the cute sun though.
Kate- the gulls are quite the scavengers. One once had the nerve to take my baby's pacifier right off the beach blanket that we were picnicking on!
eliane- my sneakers wore out from pounding all the pavement in Quincy! I also like the ripples in the water ;)
