Nickerson Beach is located on the Squantum peninsula that juts out into Boston Harbor on one side and Quincy Bay on the other. One needs to travel by this beach in order to get to two of Boston's Harbor Islands: Moon Island and Long Island. Unfortunately both islands are closed to the general public. John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and University of Massachusetts, Boston can be seen in the background.
