Snow Laden Doorway

I like the snow laden branches leaning into the doorway of the Stone Library of Presidents John and John Quincy Adams. I wonder where President Barack Obama's Library will be built?

This library though was not built the way Presidential libraries are today...to store the president's papers.. This was a personal and family library, built out of stone to be fire proof.

Thank you for clarifying that, Sarah, you're absolutely right. there are 13 Presidential Libraries that archive President's papers and media. They began with President Herbert Hoover. You can read more here: http://www.archives.gov/presidential-libraries/about/office.html

That is a super photo. It looks like the branches are bowing under the weight of the snow.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
