Massage parlors seem to be springing up around town. This neon sign was taken in the window of a new massage parlor on Newport Avenue near the Wollaston Train station. It could be a handy location for all those commuters who had to stand up for their trip home from Boston . . . see "SRO" post here.

You're right about massage parlors springing up - and also hair salons! Looks like a new one is opening soon on the corner of Elm Ave. and Hancock St.
I'm thinking they are simply the last local businesses that don't lose all their customers to the internet... you can't order a haircut or a massage on Amazon (yet)! Love your blog by the way!
amazing colors!
I'll take three.
Beats the "Rent a bed for a nap" duvet included!place on Madison Avenue!
I adore a great neon sign, and this one is a doozy.
This actually lends an inviting air to massage parlors; the ones nearby here are quite seedy looking.
i LOVE massages!
Except its implication, this advertisement is fascinating.I love the shining colours and the flowing lines!
