
The Queen Anne's Lace is in full bloom in our fields and along our coastline. I just learned that it is also called the "Wild Carrot". The carrots we eat today were once cultivated from this plant. I like the photographer capturing it from the lower angle.

This is just great...looks like one of those "Honey, I shrunk the kids" movies!
I don't know if you have ever tried to pull out Queen Anne's Lace, but their "carrot" root is gigantic. So this picture seems to bring the size of the plant more in line with its roots. It's a monster! Love it!
