Repair Down Under

A 3-year repair project has begun on the 40-year old Neponset River Bridge connecting Quincy to Boston. You are looking at a jacked-up stairway to the bridge.

Industrial photos seem to lend themselves to monochrome. This is my entry to the Monochrome Weekend group. You can see other monochrome images from around the world HERE.

Crazy angle, Slim. I can't quite make out what I'm looking at but I like this image as an abstract.

Industrial/ black & white are my favorites...I just followed the link to your shipyard photos , I didn't finish looking at all of them yet but I love them... glad you took that photo of Goliath.

A different look at a bridge from the mundane. Interesting!

That's a fascinating viewpoint. I like the photo a lot - much more than I like the idea of using the stairway!

As you say, industrial and building subjects lend themselves to mono; the angle adds the interest to this one.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
