Thursday Is "This Old House Day"

This house has a certain symmetry to it. I like the contrasting trim, especially on the porch. There is a granite retaining wall in front which is not unusual for a West Quincy house near the quarries.

Lovely photo and picturesque old house- my son has one just like it - same colours too, on his model railway/railroad ;-)

Thanks for the visit to Mancunian Wave. Yes my son's was a US model railroad house that I bought for him in the UK. We seem to have a few US model railroad sets and accessories on sale here. It takes priode of place in his set. A pic at:
