Today is a celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Thank you!

i echo your thanks.
Great tribute for today. The day does not seem as memorable anymore...so sad. I recall Armistice Day as a time when we sold and wore red paper poppies with a significant stop at 11 am in the classroom when we stood and paused to remember all the soldiers. Doesn't happen anymore; haven't seen a red poppy in decades.
Kate- It's been about 3 years since I came across vets selling poppies outside the local supermarket. Where have they gone?
Thank you for remembering Veteran's Day... they all deserve our recognition for their duty, valor and sacrifice.
