It's a nice thought Slim, that the pediment would be kept. Similar to the way the old Wollaston school step was kept in that small park on on Beale St.
As a child I attended the Quincy Elementary School on Newberry Ave, which was converted to condos. The exterior still looks the same, although the tree we planted as 10 years olds with our homemade time capsules buried along side was sadly bulldozed when they landscaped.
