The new city track is being constructed layer by layer at Faxon Field near the new high school that you can glimpse in the background. Who knows, perhaps Quincy will spawn a future olympian from here some day.

Great composition and good luck to future champions.
Our town completed a new track a year ago. There was quite a bit of controversy about where to locate it. When they discovered nesting herons in the trees, they had to stop cutting and find a new place on the other side of town. - Margy
Quincy has, in fact spawned two Olympians from its youth track programs: Karen Cashman and Kate O'Neil
