I was fortunate to capture the last seasonal bloom of this Yorkist Rose Tree set out on the farm grounds by Abigail Adams in 1788.  It is just amazing to me to be looking at this flower that was planted and enjoyed by Abigail Adams and family more than 200 years ago.

This is very pretty and I enjoyed reading about its connection to Abigail Adams.
