Travel Tuesday: Prague, Czech Republic
Petrin Tower, built in 1891, was inspired by the neighboring Eiffel Tower which was constructed a few years prior. Petrin is much shorter than Eiffel, though it sits on a sizable hill which makes its altitude higher. It not only gives tourists a fantastic view of Prague but it also serves as a transmission tower.
