This image was taken in the Adams Shore neighborhood. We don't see dramatic clouds like this every day and I thought they would work well in b+w. To see more b+w images go to the Monochrome Monday site here.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

You are correct, the clouds were worth capturing. The light brings the building up also.
Thanks for participating.
Sorry about the above - I am trying to use Open ID and look what happens...!
Beautiful and dramatic sky really makes the picture.
Work very well in monochrome. I also love the reflections in the puddles.
Love the clouds, great shot!
Love this photo...may I ask what type of camera you use?
Definitely worth taking a moment to enlarge and study. The light transforms the white house, the stairway, and the gazebo-like structure in the background, making them radiant with energy.
Good choice!
Oh, I do love the fat puffy clouds. MB
I think it is a beautiful monochrome picture.
Very dramatic clouds. Great shot overall for mono.
Very nice tonal range and composition.
Awesome clouds! The whole picture is beautiful in monochrome.
Great mono shot. Love it.
Nan-
This image was made with my Panasonic Lumix LX3.
The most beautiful sunset I ever saw was in Qunicy in the early 80's. LOL
Great shot!
