This stucco house on Presidents Hill has a beautiful symmetry. It also has some nice Arts and Crafts architectural features.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

It's almost like a face, or do I need to wake up a bit more.
Love the lines of this house. Nice shot, Slim.
I like it. It reminds me of something...a doll house, maybe?
Nice shot!
Hi, Brattcat here again. Kipling wanted his house in Vermont designed like a boat, and it really does look like one. You can, indeed, stay there. The Landmark Trust rents it out. Inside it is pretty close to the way it was when Kipling left it. His books are on the shelves in his study, his desk is still there...it's pretty amazing.
Years ago this house had a lovely covered porch in front. It gave the house a more inviting, less stark look. I miss that porch.
