Flag & Facade Remain
The beautiful but charred neoclassical facade of the Quincy Masonic Temple is all that remains after a multiple-alarm fire gutted it on Monday. It was built in 1926, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. So many good memories were made here: my own go back to meeting Santa at White Brothers Milk Company Christmas parties that were held here. I also attended DeMolay installations here for my sons, the popular dinner theater events and the antique shows. The interior was as amazing as the exterior. So sad!~Are there any views of the interior?
Wow. Thanks for capturing this. I hope whoever rebuilds opts to preserve the facade. It would be a shame to demo it.
Sarah- Unfortunately, I do not have any interior pictures.
I was so sad to hear of this fire - such a beautiful landmark.
