Flag & Facade Remain

The beautiful but charred neoclassical facade of the Quincy Masonic Temple is all that remains after a multiple-alarm fire gutted it on Monday.  It was built in 1926, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  So many good memories were made here: my own go back to meeting Santa at White Brothers Milk Company Christmas parties that were held here.  I also attended DeMolay installations here for my sons, the popular dinner theater events and the antique shows.  The interior was as amazing as the exterior.   To see previous QDP posts of the Masonic Temple, please click HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Wow. Thanks for capturing this. I hope whoever rebuilds opts to preserve the facade. It would be a shame to demo it.
